Outlander meets the Tudors – ‘I bought two of these one for me and one for my sister-in-law. She’s Anne Boleyn obsessed so figured she’ll love the book and I thought it sounded interesting (despite me not being a huge fan of AB). However, I can honestly say I’m hooked!! The first time I started reading it I got to chapter 4 before I put it down. The story is already captivating, it’s like Outlander meets the Tudors and I look forward to reading on. I would thoroughly recommend it to all Tudor fans. Phillipa Vincent-Connolly has well and truly created something special here.’ – KAREN EASTER

A must-read – Ever since I received an audible version of the Timeless Falcon, it has been like opening a box of luxurious chocolates. I dip in and find another unexpected luscious adventure of Beth, the history student time traveller, to unwrap and see where her friend Anne Boleyn’s journey is headed. Guided by Philippa Vincent-Connolly’s expert descriptions of Tudor England, Hever Castle and the Royal Court, Timeless Falcon is a gripping novel for all history lovers – PHIL ROBERTS, Historian and writer.
Phenomenal – I picked up this book because of my intense adoration of all things Tudor England and Anne Boleyn – and I was blown away. I first listened to the audible narration, which is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it, and then purchased a copy to read on my own. By the time I had finished, I was GUTTED to find out there’s not a release date for book two. I have my fingers crossed for soon though and I’ve followed all of the authors’ social media and such to keep up. I’ll be the first in line for book two!! I need this series!!!! It’s everything I have ever dreamed of, and honestly, it’s a joy watching Beth go back and forth and manage the difference between her two worlds. I need to know what happens!!!
Please release the rest of the series and get the same audiobook narrator!! I’ll be getting hard copies and the audiobook copies as well. Hurrah! – AMAZON REVIEW
Phenomenal and Original – Timeless Falcon is just as good, if not better, than anything Gregory or Weir has written. I was hesitant about the time travel aspect, as it is so often done badly, but Vincent-Connolly does this very well. I also loved that it was a refreshing, different way of telling Anne Boleyn’s story. I started reading and couldn’t stop. Can’t wait for the next one! – JENNIFER DUNLO
Tudor Time Slip – In “Timeless Falcon”, Phillipa Vincent-Connolly retells the well-known story of Anne Boleyn through the eyes of a modern-day woman, Beth, who travels back in time to Tudor England where she meets the real Anne.
Now, Anne Boleyn’s story has been done to death, so to speak, and there are countless novels recounting the story of her life. But this one is different. Vincent-Connolly offers a story skilfully weaved around real-life characters but with a surprising twist. The detailed and vivid narrative transported me to a time period that I love and allowed me to experience Tudor England like never before.
“Timeless Falcon” is very well-researched and fabulously written. It’s a page-turner enhanced by flawless narrative and an absorbing plot, making it a perfect choice for fans of historical fiction, Anne Boleyn and Tudor England.
I highly recommend this novel to everyone who loves everything Tudor. -AMAZON REVIEW

Jumping right into the Tudor world without abandon, Beth eats up the past with a silver spoon and makes friends easily with one of the most fascinating and fashionable Tudor queen, Anne Boleyn. Twisting between past and present, this student of history lives every historians dream of watching infamous events unfold before her eyes. I loved every moment and can’t wait for volume 2! 💕💕 – JANEL VANHIMBERGEN
DISABILITY AND THE TUDORS: All The King’s Fools
‘Shines a light on a fascinating but hitherto overlooked aspect of life in Tudor England, and in so doing makes an important contribution to the scholarship of the period.’ –TRACY BORMAN, historian and author
Amazingly written – Definitely, an eye-opener – Phillipa took such care and time in her researching the materials and information on this subject. It definitely opens my eyes to how different the times are. The Tudors showed respect toward people with disabilities and took care of them. Which we should continue. Definitely a great read. Highly recommend this book. In some chapters, I felt like I was there watching it all happen. – BETHANY MCNICHOLL
Groundbreaking Study – This is a groundbreaking book when it comes to the field of disability history and I learned a lot from it. Vincent-Connolly has meticulously researched the period and this is a must-read. – AMAZON REVIEW
Fascinating, humbling and thought-provoking. – Firstly, I am not a historian, I do have a keen interest in history, however, and as such found this book fascinating and original.
The subject matter was brave and was handled comprehensively and sensitively I thought, a difficult task bearing in mind the vast differences in social thought between the times.
The book was very thought-provoking and made me examine the way society has treated people who were different, in any way, through the ages. There were also some fascinating insights into the royal court and key characters of history seen in an entirely different light and from a different perspective, notably Henry VIII.
There was some strange and quirky repetition throughout the book, which was irritating at times not only in the text but also in the subjects and it jumped around and repeated itself a few times. This did not spoil the overall effect for me and as a whole, I found the book educational, engaging and humbling. – Helen Frost
Phillipa’s talk was excellent. Certainly showed a starting point for discussions around more inclusive history, but also utterly fascinating insights into Tudor attitudes that I just had considered. – JENNY H
Brilliant talk today. Thank you ever so much. Was so interesting and so much to think about! The book is now on my to-be-read list. Photos and artefacts were fascinating!! – MISS SHEPERD
“History allows someone to slide into someone else’s shoes, even if the shoes have callipers or ones that are fixed to a wheelchair” This quote at the end of Phillipa Vincent-Connolly’s talk at Teacher Meet History Icons is a poignant reminder of why we should include more disability history – SIMON BEALE
Great talk today! Highlighting the representation of disabilities in the Tudor period. Can’t believe I never put 2 and 2 together to view Henry VIII through that lens. Thank you for opening my eyes, I’ll take this with me into my future practice! – JOHN FOSTER
Immensely powerful listening to Phillipa Vincent-Connolly discussing Disability History with a focus on the Tudors. We have such an important role as teachers to ensure that we include everyone. MISS FORWOOD
For too long we have let the voices of those with disabilities be silenced. A powerful talk by Phillipa Vincent-Connolly which will inspire change – KATE O’NEIL
Listening to Phillipa Vincent-Connolly’s talk about Disability in the Tudor period, as well as a clear rallying call on more visible diversity in terms of disabilities within the teaching profession – SARAH HARTSMITH
Loved listening to Phillipa Vincent-Connolly who I am indebted to for my lesson on disability in Tudor and Stuart England. Such an important topic and Phillipa is helping us bring this history into our curriculum. – EMMY
